work

Sun Dec 6, 2009, 11:37 PM
lately I have been made to work jobs that are up to four hours away from my apartment. So between school and work, I've pretty much been away from home for periods of time. I think if I ever find out how to scan images that are 11"X 17" or larger i'd like to upload some pictures to prove my marker skills. However i'm reluctant to take it to the printing place near my house since one time i brought in a fireplace rendering, only to have them try to charge me $50 and then spill coffee on it when I refused. Seriously $50 to scan an image to a CD I brought in? Scanning requires no supplies, only time. so why would it cost more than a copy?

I wish I had a metalocalypse t-shirt for christmas. Not even a wii or xbox or any of that. Just that shirt. It'd be even more perfect if it was a picture of Toki.

More pictures coming soon since I'll be out of school in 2 weeks

thanks for the visit
:icontyr-odinson:
it's cool, you do a lot of old school looney tunes huh?
:icongolddarkshadow:
yes, my goal is 2 become a cartoonist, but i want 2 draw old-school, which is the best in my opinion. the new stuff is crap.
:icontyr-odinson:
yeah, most of the new stuff isn't very creative and it's made on adobe flash so it's particularly horrible. But the more parents cried foul over the violence of early cartoons, the more people replaced it with crude drawings and fart jokes, so what can you do right? good luck though, put those animators to shame
:icongolddarkshadow:
thanks man, but you know its not the animators fault. The Execs think that censoring all of the funny gags make it alright, but what you get is a too much happy place cartoon where nothing happens. The cartoons in the 30's and 40's were base on real life from some od the directors, but put into a hilarious manner. The cartoons today are not creative at all and have crappy design. Disney should be spending more money on making good quality cartoons, while instead, they buy Marvel for $4 Billion Dollars. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE. You get the point im trying 2 get across. Oh yay, can you tell me what you think of my drawings, I just want 2 know. Thanks.
